ACU Training Camp 1: Whole Program Welcome

15–17 January 2027 | Victoria

A three-day camp bringing the full Team Australia program together for introductions, key education sessions, meet and greet activities and team bonding. Athletes will then break into their respective programs to begin initial training, routine development and program-specific preparation.

 

ACU Training Camp 2: Program-Specific Training

20–22 February 2027 | Athletes will attend training in locations specific to their program

Cheer: Western Australia and Victoria 
All Abilities: TBC

These camps will focus on the specific training, skills and preparation requirements of each program.

 

ACU Training Camp 3

3–4 (5 for AA) April 2027 | New South Wales

The final training camp will focus on bringing the team together, refining routines, completing final preparations for competition and working through key operational processes ahead of departure for Orlando.

 

Team Australia ICU Worlds Show-Offs presented by ACU

4 April 2027 | New South Wales

The Show-Offs will be an opportunity to present the full Team Australia program to a live audience before departing for Orlando. A ticketed event open to the public, the event will showcase our athletes, celebrate the program and give family, friends and the wider community a chance to get behind the team as they prepare to represent Australia on the world stage.

 

Additional Training & Commitment Requirements

Additional training sessions may be required to meet specific program or team needs. Where possible, these will be communicated as early as possible and will be subject to ACU approval.

The camps and events listed above are the compulsory in-person commitments for Team Australia 2027. Athletes considering applying should ensure they can commit to these dates, including the associated travel requirements, as attendance is an essential part of being a member of the team.

• All camp locations are provisional and may change following final team selections and cohort residences. Confirmed venues and further logistical information will be communicated directly to selected athletes.

• As these camps are a compulsory part of the program, prospective athletes and their families should consider the dates and associated travel commitments before applying.
