Coach Credentials

Coach credentialing in Australia is an incredibly important part of the national framework to ensure that coaches and clubs are able to run classes and train participants safely at all levels - from grass roots to international representation.

 

Below is a set of links to help guide you to the appropriate providers to obtain credentials for National and International competitions as well as fulfil any insurance obligations at your training facility.

ICU Coach Credentials

ICU Credentialing is required for any Team Australia National coaches who will be coaching at international events such as the ICU World Championships. Credentials can be obtained directly with the ICU.

IASF Coach Credentials

IASF Credentialing is required for most events in Australia and can be obtained directly from the IASF website. Please note, an education component may be required and their prices are in USD. Please speak to your Event Providers for further information on what they require to attend their events.

Working With Children

All Australian Event Providers and ACU Club members require coaches to have and maintain a valid Working with Children check with their relevant State Governments.

 

Please ensure that you have obtained the required check for your state.

Coach Education

The event provider AASCF currently is an IASF approved official education provider, please visit their website to organise any education you may rerquire for IASF credentialing.
